Setting the Price

You can't just make up a number out of thin air. You are going to need some information to back up your asking price.

Second, have a competitive market analysis performed on your property. Your Tampa Realtor will estimate the value of your home by comparing it to the value of similar homes in the area.

These two services will help you establish a reasonable asking price. You shouldn't stray too far away from these estimates when setting the asking price. The market is in constant motion. Keep your estimates current. Discuss it with your Tampa Realtor before you make any changes on your homes asking price.

Determining the Condition

Before you show your home, it's smart to repair any minor problems or aesthetic blemishes. You don't want to discourage a potential buyer by having a structurally sound house that looks a little shabby. Make sure you know as much about the property as possible. Also, be aware of anything that the law requires you to disclose to buyers

Getting Maximum Exposure

The Correct marketing plan will attract most every buyer in the area looking for a home like yours. With poor exposure the person looking for a house like yours may never see it.
