The Tampa condo market appears to have slowed down . However, we are still reading about new building being built almost every other week. Are these developers crazy? No, I don't think so. Perhaps they are more realistic about pricing their new project then many owners and novice investors are when trying to sell. Many buyers are wondering when to jump into this market. I always tell them the market is soft now and there is a lot of competition among sellers. Pick what you like, find at least one comparable unit and make your best deal but always be prepared to walk away if you price can't be met. The thing to remember is be realistic many seller would like to sell and have become somewhat soft with their price but most people aren't going to give their property away. Finally, buyers can take comfort in the fact that many home and certainly condo prices have returned to early to mid 2005 prices. so I say buy that Madison at SoHo Condominium now while interest rates are favorable.
